Hi, I’m Amy, the hands and vision behind Amy’s Metalworks. I first picked up a welder in 2020 while building a desert home with my partner. Metal was our main material, but when we couldn’t find the help we needed, I decided to learn the skill myself. Armed with a basic welder, countless hours of tutorials, and a determination to figure it out, I jumped right in.

My first projects were structural — creating pieces with a living, functional purpose. That experience was both empowering and addictive, and it laid the foundation for everything that followed. Over the past few years, I’ve expanded into the artistic side of metalwork, learning how to shape, mold, and transform steel into textures, patterns, and one-of-a-kind sculptures.

What started as a necessity has grown into a passion. I love pushing myself to learn new techniques quickly and applying them in creative ways. Each piece I make carries both the grit of welding and the artistry of design.
